Got a Zendrive...really like it...teamed up with Tim, it's an awesome combination...Tim has a little better presence and transparency, but the Zen definitely hints at Robben Ford/Dumble tone. You might wonder what the pickup cover on the M9 is for...The parameter knobs are too close to the footswitches, and I've had trouble with accidentally engaging the push knob that switches the effect assigned to the footswitch...thus changing from tremolo to distortion...so, the pickup cover just lays there (not mounted) to cover those knobs, but it works well...I've not had another problem. Nevertheless, I'd have to say "BAD DESIGN" to the Line 6 folks. As the years go by, I'm finding more and more "keepers" on this board. At present, the awkward interface on the M9 makes it about the only pedal I'm not 100% happy with, and besides being heavy as crap, this board serves me well for both bands (minimal if any noticeable tone suckage)...I use everything on it at one time or another, 'though I'll certainly have to admit that I use no effects about 75% of the time, and the majority of the time something's on, it's Tim.
